What does on-location inspection mean?
On-location inspection means the certified inspector travels to wherever the car is parked — your home, a seller's address, a dealer lot, an auction yard, or a workshop. You do not need to drive or transport the vehicle. The inspector brings all equipment and works independently at the car's current location.
Is on-location inspection the same as a mobile service?
The inspector travels to you, but "on-location inspection" is the correct operational term. The inspection itself is done where the car is — not in a mobile workshop or van.
Is there a travel fee?
No. The published package price is the final price across all covered emirates: Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain. No per-kilometre charge, no zone surcharges.
Can the inspector come early morning or on weekends?
Yes. InspectCar dispatches 7 days a week including early mornings, evenings, and weekends — matching when private sellers are available. Book any convenient time during checkout.
What if the car is not drivable?
Most 410+ checkpoints can still be completed. The road test (15 dynamic checks) is skipped. The inspector flags this clearly in the report. For a non-drivable vehicle, consider the AED 250 Body & Computer package instead of the Comprehensive tier.
